For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">1. Shower and thunderstorm activity has decreased and become less <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">organized in association with a large non-tropical low pressure area <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">located about 90 miles southeast of Morehead City, North Carolina. <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Earlier satellite wind data indicated that the system was producing <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">an area of gale-force winds in its northern semicircle offshore the <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">North Carolina coast. However, dry air and strong upper-level winds <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">are beginning to decrease the chance for further development of this <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">system. The low is forecast to move slowly north-northeastward and <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">approach eastern North Carolina later today.  Interests in that area <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">should monitor the progress of this system and refer to local <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">National Weather Service office products for more information. <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Regardless of development, intermittent periods of locally heavy <span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">
