The high moves east of the  Carolina coast into the Atlantic waters overnight and winds will  veer to the east. On Friday, High pressure will be northeast of  the waters as a warm front lifts northward over the waters Friday  night ahead of a cold front with elevated winds and seas offshore.  Saturday, the cold front will cross the local waters then begin  to stall across the Florida peninsula with a chance of rain  showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. This front will  pivot northward as a warm front Sunday trailed by a strong cold  front impacting the local waters Monday.
