Buckeye ( formerly Hess ) - Max draft – 34’06’’ - MLW -  Max LOA 750’ Max DWT 70,000 MT UP to 2 x 10 INCH HOSES – AS OF 2/15/18. Depth is reduced 6’’ each month until the berth is dredged in June.

Kinder Morgan - berth 4 - Max draft 40'00, tide needed for anything deeper than 38'00 UP TO 2 x 8 INCH HOSES// Please be advised that the north and south finger piers located at Kinder Morgan Dock #4, sustained damage during Hurricane Matthew.  (UPDATED 11/9) the terminal manager advised that berth #4 is operational but the finger piers have not been repaired and can only be accessed by the mooring boat. The mooring dolphins are fine.

FEDERAL, STATE & LOCAL FILING REQUIREMENTS:
RIGHT WHALE REPORTING/SPEED REGULAITONS - Compliance with Mandatory Ship Reporting (MSR) Requirements: MSR is required for vessels of at least 300 gross tons (including tugs with a combined tug & barge gross tonnage above 300 gross tons), who enter the WHALESSOUTH area between November 15th and April 15th. The WHALESSOUTH area extends from the shoreline east to longitude 80°51.6’W with the southern & northern boundaries at latitude 30°00’N and 31°27’N., respectively. This area includes the ports of Brunswick, Fernandina and Jacksonville. Reporting is required as the vessel enters the WHALESSOUTH zone.


96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.  Bond must be filed for Foreign flag vessels or U.S. flag arriving with foreign cargo aboard.  24 Hours - advance notice to Pilots
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Terminal.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
 
Port Security - All persons doing business within Port Authority property must have security pass from SCPA.  All persons wanting unescorted access to any vessel must have a valid TWIC.

MARINE FORECAST:  922 AM EST Mon Dec 17 2018      .SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Strong low pressure just N of the  far NE portion of the waters, near Georges Bank, late this  morning, will move NE away from the waters while intensifying  this afternoon and tonight. A series of strong secondary cold  fronts will move SE over the northern waters later today into  Tue. High pressure will build toward the coast Tue and Tue  night, then slowly drift E over the region Wed before passing E  of the area Wed night. Strengthening low pressure will move N  through the Mid-Atlantic states Thu and Thu night while lifting a  warm front across the waters, then pass N of the area Fri and  Fri night while pulling a strong cold front E over the waters.    $$
