<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">1. A trough of low pressure located over the western Gulf of Mexico is

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. While upper-level

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">winds are generally conducive for the development of a tropical

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">depression, the system only has about a day before it reaches the

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">western Gulf coast.  An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">is scheduled to investigate the disturbance later today, if

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">necessary. Regardless of development, heavy rainfall and gusty winds

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">are expected across portions of northeastern Mexico, Texas, and

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Louisiana on Friday and Saturday.  Interests there should monitor

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">the progress of this system, and refer to products from their local

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">weather office.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">western Atlantic.
