<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">1. A broad area of low pressure is located over the central Gulf of

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Mexico.  Although the shower activity is still disorganized,

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">upper-level winds are forecast to become more conducive for

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">development, and it is likely that a tropical depression will form

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Thursday or Thursday night, before the system reaches the western

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Gulf coast.  An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">scheduled to investigate the disturbance tomorrow, if necessary.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Regardless of development, heavy rainfall and gusty winds are

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">expected across portions of northeastern Mexico, Texas, and

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Louisiana late this week. Interests there should monitor the

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">progress of this system, and refer to products from their local

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">weather office.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">western Atlantic.
