<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:black">The Coast Guard has completed their critical aids to navigation (ATON) assessments in Jacksonville and Fernandina. 11 of the 118 critical aids in Jacksonville and Fernandina were found
to not be watching properly.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:black">Surveys to ensure no channel obstructions continue. The Coast Guard anticipates the results of these surveys this afternoon. Based on the results combined with the noted ATON discrepancies,
the COTP will determine whether to; remove all restrictions, continue existing restrictions or impose new restrictions. In the meantime, the Coast Guard continues to entertain requests to move tug and barge combinations (over 500 GT) on a case by case basis.
