The Southeast U.S. Seasonal Management Area (which includes the ports of Brunswick, Fernandina and Jacksonville) will become effective on November 15, 2016 and will remain in place through April 15, 2017.
Mariners are requested use the charted two-way routes for these ports in order to reduce collisions with whales. Mariners entering the WHALLESSOUTH area must adhere to the requirements of the Mandatory Ship Reporting System. Report
