<span-family:"Century",serif">96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG

<span-family:"Century",serif">48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.

<span-family:"Century",serif">24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.  Bond must be filed for foreign flag vessels or U.S. flag arriving with foreign cargo aboard.  24 Hours - advance notice to Pilots

<span-family:"Century",serif">24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Terminal.

<span-family:"Century",serif">72 Hours - post port call; the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.

<span-family:"Century",serif">Port Security - All persons doing business within Port Authority property must have security pass from GPA.  All persons wanting unescorted access to any vessel must have a valid TWIC.

11/01/16 – RIGHT WHALE SPEED RESTRICTIONS -<span-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> The associated speed restriction of 10 knots for vessels greater than 65' in length will remain in effect through April 30, 2017.

11/15/16 – RIGHT WHALE REPORTING REQUIRED<span-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> -  The Southeast U.S. Seasonal Management Area (which includes the ports of Brunswick, Fernandina and Jacksonville) will become effective on November 15, 2016 and will remain in place through April 15, 2017. 

Mariners are requested use the charted two-way routes for these ports in order to reduce collisions with whales.  Mariners entering the WHALLESSOUTH area must adhere to the requirements of the Mandatory Ship Reporting System.  Report right whale sightings: 1-877-WHALE HELP or U.S. Coast Guard Channel 16.  NOAA greatly appreciates your continued efforts to protect the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale.  For more information please contact me or visit http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/pr/shipstrike/#speedlimit
