FEDERAL, STATE & LOCAL FILING REQUIREMENTS:

96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG

48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel
arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.

24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to
Customs & Border Patrol AMS. Bond must be filed for Foreign flag vessels
or U.S.
flag arriving with foreign cargo aboard.

24 Hours - advance notice to Pilots

24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by
Terminal.

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL - as of 11/15 - Mandatory Right Whale reporting by all
vessels - for information - www.nmfs.noaa/pr/shipstrike.com

72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading
figures for all bulk cargo.

Port Security - All persons doing business within Port Authority property
must have security pass from SCPA. All persons wanting unescorted access
to any vessel must have a valid TWIC.

New Combo Breakbulk/Container
Service Begins April 1

National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia adds Charleston to its North
America liner service.

March 18, 2009


Importers and exporters please be aware of the new liner service being
initiated by National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia. The North America
service will connect Charleston and select ports in the Middle East, Med,
and India.

Cargoes: Containers, traditional breakbulk, roll-on/roll-off.

Foreign Port Rotation: Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Jebel Ali (Dubai), Jubail
(Saudi Arabia), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Port Qasim (Pakistan), Mumbai
(India), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Livorno (Italy).

Frequency: Every 21 days.

First Vessel: Saudi Tabuk on March 31 or April 1, 2009.

Booking Freight: Call NSCSA at 410-625-7000 or 1-800-732-0204.

NSCSA's North America service will offer a new multi-dimensional means of
moving your freight to and from these key international markets via the
Port of Charleston's efficient marine terminal operations.

Keep in mind that Charleston offers best-in-market high and wide rail and
highway clearances for handling your oversized unit needs as well as
shipside rail and truck service.
